"I'm sure that in a year it [the e-customs system] will start working. It took us about one year to develop and deploy the ProZorro public e-procurement system. Approximately the same period, even a shorter one, was needed to create the ProZorro.Sales electronic platform, that is the system for sales transactions, granting of licenses, etc. In my opinion, such terms are real enough for the deployment of e-customs as well," he said in Lviv on July 6, answering President Volodymyr Zelensky's question at the presentation of the new chairman of Lviv Regional State Administration Markiyan Malsky.

According to Nefyodov, the state has sufficient funding from Western partners as well as a large number of domestic experts to launch and successfully implement the project.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers on July 5 tapped First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Maksym Nefyodov to head the State Customs Service of Ukraine.

On June 26, Nefyodov said the Service would start operations in 2.5 months.
