"The company's operation is in fact blocked over the delay by representatives of [the financial company] FC Vesta LLC of the consideration of the economic dispute in court. The company is simultaneously conducting an international audit of damages and losses as a result of activity or inactivity of Ukraine's law enforcement agencies and FC Vesta LLC," the website of Ukraine's 24 TV channel reported, referring to Voskhod Solar CEO Anatoly Staritsyn.

According to the CEO, losses from a dispute between Voskhod Solar LLC and Ukraine's law-enforcement agencies, which the Chinese side considers to be an attempt of illegal seizure of its assets, are estimated at least EUR 110 million.

"In particular, the [solar power] plant was disconnected from the grids based on court rulings which were later canceled. There were attempts to illegally seize the property of China's state corporation by transferring assets allegedly for management under [Ukraine's Asset Recovery and Management Agency] ARMA. The company's accounts were frozen, as well. CNBM intends to transfer dispute-related materials to the Chinese side, which will make it possible to bring Ukrainian officials to justice in China," the article said.

As was reported, Voskhod Solar earlier reported attempts to illegally seize its assets in the interests of controversial Ukrainian oligarch Pavlo Fuks' structures. The Anti-Raider Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine instructed the Prosecutor General's Office and the National Police to bring the case under special control.

CNBM, which is in the top 500 world largest companies, sent a notification to Ukraine's Justice Ministry about the settlement of an investment dispute over its Ukrainian-based subsidiary. The company promised to start a trial if the parties fail to settle the issue through negotiations.
