Revenues of Ukraine's local budgets up by 20%

Personal income tax brought UAH 77.2 billion (US$2.99 billion).

Receipts of own revenues of the local budgets' general fund in January-June 2019 increased to UAH 128.8 billion (US$4.99 billion), which is 19.6%, or UAH 21.1 billion ($817 million) over the amount for the same period of 2018.

That's according to Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Public Utilities of Ukraine Hennady Zubko, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reports.

"In particular, personal income tax brought UAH 77.2 billion ($2.99 billion), which is UAH 13.9 billion ($538 million), or 22%, more than income for the corresponding period last year. Land rent payments brought UAH 15.6 billion ($604 million), or +23.4%. Actual revenues from the single tax stood at UAH 16.2 billion ($627 million), or +22.8%. Actual revenues from income tax on real estate stood at UAH 2.1 billion ($81 million), or +32.3%,"  the report said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, revenues of local budgets across Ukraine over 2018 increased by 22%, to UAH 234 billion ($9.06 billion).
