The statistics agency says its report does not include data from Russia-occupied areas.
Ukraine boosted the output of meat and eggs in the first half of 2019 (H1).
In particular, meat production rose by 5.3% year-over-year, to 1.6 million tonnes (live weight), the State Statistics Service of Ukraine reported.
Production of eggs rose by 5%, to 8.9 billion eggs.

At the same time, milk production in the first six months declined by 3.4%, to 4.8 million tonnes.
The statistics agency says its report does not include data from Russia-occupied areas, namely Crimea, Sevastopol, and certain parts of Donbas in Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
As UNIAN reported earlier, meat production in Ukraine in 2019 rose by 1%, to 3.3 million tonnes, while milk output fell by 2%, to 10 million tonnes. Production of eggs grew by 4%, to 16.1 billion eggs.
