Ukrainian agrarians threshed 42,000 tonnes of rye.
Ukrainian farmers harvested 23.5 million tonnes of early grain from 6.6 million hectares as of July 22, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food said.
In particular, 16.9 million tonnes of winter wheat was threshed from 4.5 million hectares, which is 68% of the plan, with an average yield of 3.76 tonnes per hectare.

Farmers gathered 6 million tonnes of barley from 1.8 million hectares, or 73% of the plan. Its yield was 3.25 tonnes per hectare.
The total yield of peas was 549,000 tonnes harvested from 242,000 hectares, or 86% of the plan. Its yield was 2.27 tonnes per hectare.
In addition, Ukrainian agrarians threshed 42,000 tonnes of rye from 16,000 hectares (14%), and 20,000 tonnes of oats from 9,000 hectares (5%).
Also, according to the ministry, 2.6 million tonnes of winter rapeseed was threshed from 1.1 million hectares, or 83% of the forecast.
As UNIAN reported, on May 2, Ukrainian farmers completed planting early spring crops, having sown 2.1 million hectares.
In 2018, Ukraine harvested a record high yield of 70.1 million tonnes of grain.
