The amount of VAT refunds given to Ukrainian business entities in March 2015 decreased by 1.4 times compared with February 2015, to UAH 2.965 billion, the State Treasury Service of Ukraine reported on Thursday.
In March, VAT was refunded to more than 967 business entities in all regions of Ukraine, the service said.
Regionally, the highest amounts of refunds were made in Dnipropetrovsk (UAH 906.4 million), Kyiv (UAH 902.9 billion), and Zaporizhzia regions (UAH 230.9 million).
In the corporate segment, the largest amounts of refunds were received by Steel Arcelor Mittal Kryvyi Rig (UAH 500.38 million, Dnipropetrovsk region), South Ore Mining and Processing Plant (UAH 236.999 million, Dnipropetrovsk region), Poltava Mining and Processing Plant (UAH 232.159 million, Poltava region), Zaporizhstal (UAH 172.58 million, Zaporizhzhia region).
The smallest amount of refunds were given to entrepreneurs in Luhansk region – UAH 1.56 million.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the amount of VAT refunds to entities engaged in foreign economic activity of Ukraine in February 2015 amounted to UAH 4.26 billion.
