State-owned railway company Ukrzaliznytsia is to be transformed to a joint-stock company by September 2015, Infrastructure Minister Andriy Pyvovarsky said at a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.
"According to our schedule, by September, we will already have a new company - Joint-Stock Company Ukrzaliznytsia," the minister said.
The minister also said that currently the audit company Deloitte, in conjunction with the State Property Fund, are conducting an audit of the assets owned by the state-owned enterprise.
"I hope that by mid-June Deloitte will complete its evaluation, confirmation from the State Property Fund will be received, and we will be able to proceed with the formation of the new company," the minister added.
