Deficit of Ukraine's national budget in H1 estimated at US$34 mln

The deficit of Ukraine's national budget in January-June 2019 was estimated at UAH 871.6 million, or US$34.21 million, which is 90.9% lower than the deficit for the same period last year.

As Ukraine's State Treasury Service said on its website, the consolidated budget (the national and local budgets combined) for this period was executed with a surplus of UAH 21.062 billion, or US$827 million, which is twice as much as a year earlier.

UNIAN memo. Ukraine's national budget for 2019 provides revenue at UAH 1.026 trillion, US$40.3 billion, and spending at UAH 1.112 trillion, or US$43.6 billion. Its deficit ceiling is set at UAH 89.989 billion, or US$3.53 billion.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank of Ukraine fully transferred to the state budget the last year's profit in the amount of UAH 64.9 billion, or US$2.55 billion, in May-June 2019.
