Ukrainian farmers since the beginning of the new 2019-2020 marketing year (MY, July 2019 - June 2020), as of July 26, exported more than 2.6 million tonnes of grains.
Wheat exports during the said period amounted to 650,000 tonnes, as well as 518,000 tonnes of barley and 1.4 million tonnes of corn, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reported.
In addition, during the reporting period, farmers supplied to foreign markets 23,300 tonnes of wheat flour.

As UNIAN reported, farmers in 2018-2019 MY exported 49.7 million tonnes of grains, which is a record in the entire history of state independence.
The previous record of grain exports was recorded in 2016-2017 MY at the level of 43.8 million tonnes.
According to the ministry, grain harvest in Ukraine in 2018 saw a record of 70.1 million tonnes.
