Naftogaz's CEO says the Russian side hasn't confirmed the date yet.
Trilateral talks of Ukraine, Russia, the European Union on gas transit after 2019 are scheduled for September 16.
This date was mentioned in an article published by Germany's Handelsblatt.
Speaking in an interview for Handelsblatt, CEO of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine Andriy Kobolyev said that the Russian side had not yet confirmed this date.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine-EU-Russia negotiations on gas transit after 2019 took place in Brussels on January 21.
On April 24, Vice-President of the European Commission Maroš Šefčovič said that the next round of talks in the trilateral format on the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine after 2019 could take place at the end of May, immediately after the election of a new president in Ukraine.
On May 20, after newly elected of President Volodymyr Zelensky's inauguration, Šefčovič announced that the European Union would like to resume the gas transit talks as soon as possible.
According to Executive Director of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy Yuriy Vitrenko, Russia's Gazprom is deliberately trying to put off the negotiations until the formation of a new government in Ukraine after the snap parliamentary election, which took place on July 21, 2019.
