Revenue of Ukraine's consolidated budget grows by 16.6%, to over US$28 bln in Jan-July

The national budget over the period under review received US$22.2 billion.

Ukraine's consolidated budget revenue collected by the State Fiscal Service (SFS) was estimated at UAH 717.7 billion, or US$28.1 billion, in January-July 2019, which was 16.6%, or UAH 102.4 billion (US$4 billion), up year-over-year (y-o-y).

The national budget over the period under review received UAH 566.8 billion (US$22.2 billion) in revenue, which was 15.6%, or almost UAH 76.6 billion (US$3 billion), up y-o-y, according to the SFS.

Over the period under review, UAH 347.1 billion (US$13.6 billion) in tax payments was channeled into the national budget's general fund, which was 19.2%, or UAH 56 billion (US$2.2 billion) up on the last year's figure.

At the same time, the fund received UAH 180.9 billion (US$7.1 billion) in customs payments, which was UAH 1.7 billion (US$66.6 million), or 0.9%, up y-o-y.

Revenue of Ukraine's consolidated budget in July alone grew by 19.7% to UAH 105.1 billion (US$4.1 billion), while that of the national budget rose by 18.6% to UAH 81.8 billion (US$3.2 billion), the SFS said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the deficit of Ukraine's national budget in 2018 was estimated at UAH 59.248 billion (US$2.3 billion), which was 23.7% up from the deficit posted in 2017. The deficit of Ukraine's national budget in 2018 was capped at UAH 80.6 billion (US$3.2 billion), or 2.4% of GDP.

The national budget of Ukraine for 2019 set a target of UAH 1.026 trillion (US$40.8 billion) in total revenue and UAH 1.112 trillion (US$43.6 billion) in expenditures. The budget deficit was capped at UAH 89.989 billion (US$3.5 billion).
