Sales of new passenger cars in Ukraine grew by 0.3% in January-July 2019 year-over-year (y-o-y), to 46,300 vehicles.

The sales increased by 14% in July alone y-o-y, to 7,600 new cars, according to the Ukrautoprom Association's press service.
The French brand Renault was in the lead in the country's new passenger car market. Owners of new Renault cars received 1,203 license plates in July 2019, which was 66% up against 2018.
Toyota ranked second with 1,039 new cars sold in July, which was 44% up y-o-y.
The Skoda brand was third: 687 Skoda cars were sold in July 2019, which was 37% up y-o-y.
The KIA brand ranked fourth with 595 cars registered, which was 36% up against the figure posted in July 2018.
The Nissan brand ranked fifth with 488 new cars sold and registered in July 2019, which was 5% up y-o-y.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the country's sales of new passenger cars in 2018 grew by 0.6% from 2017, to 81,800 units.
