LPG prices in Ukraine fall to over UAH 11 per liter

The price of LPG gas has been declining against the background of a fall in the wholesale price of gas since early July.

A number of gas station networks in Ukraine on August 17-18 reduced the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), which is used as automobile fuel in Ukraine, by 20-40 kopiykas per liter, to UAH 11.3 per liter on average.

For example, the price of liquefied petroleum gas fell by 20 and 40 kopiykas per liter at the WOG and AMIC filling stations in Kyiv, to UAH 11.58 and UAH 10.79, respectively, the UPECO fuel consultancy reported.

The price of LPG at the BARS chain in Kyiv region dropped by 14 kopiykas per liter, to UAH 11.05.

Kropyvnytskyi-based RUR Group's gas stations cut the price of liquefied gas by 40 kopiykas per liter, to UAH 10.69.

Odesa-based Catral operator and the MOTTO chain raised the prices by 10 kopiykas, to UAH 11.47 and UAH 12.08, respectively.

Thus, the average price of liquefied petroleum gas in Ukraine as of August 19 went down to UAH 11.3 per liter, it said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the price of LPG gas at the country's filling stations has been declining against the background of a fall in the wholesale price of gas since early July.

In October 2018, the price of LPG in Ukraine reached a record high of UAH 16.99 per liter.
