According to a cabinet document, the measures are aimed at optimizing budget expenditures and shifting them to those entities that have received state guarantees for the conclusion of international agreements.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on April 4, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a list of debt for restructuring proposed by the Ministry of Finance.

Earlier, Finance Minister Natalia Jaresko stated that the issue of debt relief is not the subject of discussions under the negotiations on external public debt restructuring with the creditors.

Ukraine started restructuring talks on March 13. Lazard company and law firm White & Case have been appointed by the government as financial advisors in the negotiations. U.S. investment fund Franklin Templeton, the largest private lender to Ukraine, leads the group of creditors in the talks.
