The reference value of the hryvnia exchange rate was UAH 25.2 to the dollar as of August 21.
Ukrainian analyst Yehor Komov says the forex rate of the hryvnia, Ukraine's national currency, may strengthen to UAH 25 per U.S. dollar before August 27.

The reference value of the hryvnia exchange rate was UAH 25.2 to the dollar as of August 21.
"As of today, the hryvnia has stabilized around the existing rates and will remain at this level for several more days. According to our estimates, revaluation [of the hryvnia] up to UAH 25 [per U.S. dollar] is possible in the next six to seven days," Komov said on August 22, according to the Ukrainian online news outlet Obozrevatel.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on Wednesday, August 21, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 25.12/25.15 to the dollar.
