On Thursday, August 22, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 25.03/25.07 to the dollar.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on Thursday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate by 16 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 25.04 to the dollar.

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for August 23:
US$100 costs UAH 2,504.2697 (UAH 2,520.4427 as of August 22);
EUR 100 costs UAH 2,775.4821 (UAH 2,798.6996 as of August 22);
