Ukraine's budget revenue in Aug 9% down from target

The revenue over the period under review fell by 7% year-over-year.

Ukraine's national budget in August 2019 received UAH 87.594 billion ($3.5 billion) in revenue, which was 9%, or UAH 8.698 billion ($344 million) down from the target set for the period.

The revenue of the national budget over the period under review fell by 7% or UAH 6.461 billion ($255.8 million) year-over-year (y-o-y), according to the national budget's performance indicators published on Ukraine's State Treasury Service website.

The national budget in January-August 2019 received UAH 671.731 billion ($26.6 billion) in revenue, which was 4.5% or UAH 31.301 billion ($1.2 billion) down from the planned figure, while 10.6% or UAH 64.168 billion ($2.5 billion) up y-o-y.

Ukraine's national budget for 2019 foresees UAH 1.026 trillion, or $40.6 billion, in revenue and UAH 1.112 trillion, or $44 billion, in spending. The deficit is capped at UAH 89.989 billion, or $3.6 billion.
