The said prices went down by 20% from last week (August 26 – September 1), according to a "Snidanok z 1+1" morning TV show.
Sellers note the further decline in prices. Noteworthy, this refers to both greenhouse and field grown vegetables.
As was reported on August 20, potato shortage is expected in Ukraine in 2019 due to adverse weather conditions. As a result, prices of potato have been rising, although traditionally they began to fall in August due to the harvest of a new potato crop.
