Hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market on Thursday strengthened to UAH 21.48/21.58 to the dollar by the middle of trade, compared to UAH 21.35/21.65 at the close of trade on Wednesday, a broker at a commercial bank has told an UNIAN correspondent.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro have settled at UAH 22.86/23.28, while against the Russian ruble they have settled at UAH 0.4320/0.4350.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 1130 was UAH 21.7569 to the dollar, with seven deals concluded by this time, worth a total of $7.44 million.
