The official forex rate set by the central bank for Tuesday is approaching the three-year historical maximum.
The hryvnia, Ukraine's national currency, has drastically strengthened to UAH 24.95/24.98 per U.S. dollar.
Trade on Ukraine's interbank forex market on Monday, September 9, closed at UAH 24.95/24.98 per U.S. dollar, which was 11 kopiykas higher than the closing price from the previous day.

Quotations of the hryvnia to the euro were UAH 27.58/27.60 per euro, which was also 11 kopiykas higher than the closing rate from the previous day, a dealer of a commercial bank told UNIAN.
The National Bank set the official forex rate for the hryvnia against the U.S. dollar for Tuesday, September 10, at UAH 25.03 per U.S. dollar, which is approaching the three-year historical maximum set on August 1, 2019, at UAH 25.02 per U.S. dollar.
The official forex rate against the euro for September 10 is set at UAH 27.61 per euro.
