More Ukrainian producers apply for permits to supply beef to China / Photo from UNIAN
The producers' names are not disclosed.
Ukraine's State Food Safety and Consumer Protection Service has reported that the People's Republic of China has approved a list of Ukrainian production facilities allowed to export frozen beef onto the Chinese market.
"Three facilities producing frozen beef are on the list so far, but the process continues. And the State Service still gets applications from other Ukrainian producers for entering the Chinese market," the Ukrainian regulator's press service said on September 10.

However, the service has not disclosed the producers' names.
The decision to approve the list of Ukrainian beef producers was made on August 4-7, 2019, amid an official visit of delegates of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC) to Ukraine, the press service said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, a GACC mission on July 3-10 was evaluating Ukraine's beef quality control system in three Ukrainian regions, namely Vinnytsia, Ternopil, and Sumy regions.
