Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk says the bills passed in the first reading on Sept 10, aimed at de-shadowing of economy and cessation of the pressure on businesses, will ensure the growth in the national economy.

This refers to bill No. 1080 on decriminalization of punishment for fictitious entrepreneurship, bill No. 1076 on amendments to the law of Ukraine on public procurement, and draft law No. 1050 on amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine to reduce the list of business activities to be licensed.

"Today we have witnessed real progress towards de-shadowing of the Ukrainian economy. In the first reading, we passed bills that allow us, first, to motivate consumers to receive fiscal receipts. Second, we demand to use them due to the simplifying and reducing the cost of the process of cash registers application. Third, through these measures, we improve the level of consumer protection. At that, one should understand that these documents will be further updated together with the public, businesses and profile experts," the Cabinet's press service quoted Honcharuk as saying on Sept 10.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the prime minister had announced that the new government's task was to boost economic growth in Ukraine by at least 40% within five years.
