Ukrainian central bank's net intl reserves grow to over US$12 bln in Aug

Since year-start, net foreign reserves have increased by 24.5%.

Net international reserves of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) in August 2019 grew by 1.8%, to US$12.026 billion.

Net foreign reserves have increased by 24.7% since year-start, according to the NBU report published on its website.

UNIAN memo. Ukraine's total international reserves stood at $21.84 billion as of September 1, 2019, which was 0.8% up against the figure recorded as of August 1.

Net international reserves mean the difference between gross reserves and the outstanding balance of the NBU and the Finance Ministry on loans to the International Monetary Fund.
