The Bank's investment in 2019 may exceed EUR 1 billion.
Ukraine's government plans to expand cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) through the implementation of large-scale projects to modernize the energy sector, transport and urban infrastructure, and the banking sector.
"There is a clear understanding that, thanks to well-coordinated cooperation with the EBRD management, this year could be a record one for the Bank in Ukraine with investment exceeding EUR 1 billion," Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk said while meeting with an EBRD delegation, the government's the press service said.
UNIAN memo. The EBRD is the largest international financial investor in Ukraine. As of September 2019, the total amount of funds allocated by the EBRD for Ukraine under 433 projects in the state and municipal sectors was about EUR 13.57 billion.
