The official hryvnia exchange rate against the dollar updated the three-year historical maximum set on September 13 of this year at UAH 24.83 to the dollar.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on Friday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate by 12 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 24.71 to the dollar.

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for September 16:
US$100 costs UAH 2,471.0681 (UAH 2,483.1184 as of September 13);
EUR 100 costs UAH 2,741.8972 (UAH 2,722.2427 as of September 13);
Thus, the official hryvnia exchange rate against the dollar updated the three-year historical maximum set on September 13 of this year at UAH 24.83 to the dollar.
On Friday, September 13, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 24.79/24.82 to the dollar.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 27.43/27.46.
