Budget receipts from unified social tax grow by almost 22% in Jan-Aug

The receipts in August alone increased by 20%, to UAH 21.9 billion ($889.9 million).

Budget receipts from a unified single social tax in January-August 2019 were estimated at UAH 176.5 billion (US$7.17 billion), which was 21.7%, or UAH 31.4 billion ($1.28 billion) up year-over-year (y-o-y).

The receipts in August alone stood at UAH 21.9 billion ($889.9 million), which was 20%, or UAH 3.6 billion ($146.3 million) higher than the figure reported in August 2018, according to Ukraine's Treasury Service.

As UNIAN reported earlier, budget receipts from a unified social tax in January-August 2018 totaled UAH 145.12 billion ($5.9 billion), the Treasury Service said.

According to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFS), the receipts in 2018 grew by 26.1%, or UAH 47.2 billion ($1.9 billion) from 2017, to UAH 228 billion ($9.3 billion).
