The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on September 16-20, 2019, bought US$269.6 million in the interbank forex market, which was 36.2% up from the previous week, September 9-13.

Since the beginning of the year, the central bank's purchases of foreign currency have exceeded sales by 15 times, or by $3.808 billion, the regulator said.
