Passenger car imports grew by 3.2 times, to 341,286 units.
Ukraine in January-July 2019 boosted motor vehicle imports by 2.8% times year-over-year (y-o-y), to 371,200 units.
Vehicle imports in the seven months were estimated at US$2.5 billion, the Ukrautoprom Association's press service said.
At the same time, passenger car imports grew by 3.2 times, to 341,286 units worth $2.011 billion.

Imports of commercial vehicles over the period under review rose by 22% y-o-y. In monetary terms, they totaled $497 million, the report said. Ukraine also saw a 19% increase in bus imports, to 1,258 units, while their purchase value amounted to $33.1 million.
The association has not released data on shipments of motor vehicles from Ukraine.
As UNIAN reported earlier, sales of new passenger cars in Ukraine grew by 0.3% in January-July 2019 y-o-y, to 46,300 vehicles.
