Ukraine's hryvnia beefs up, updating four-year record against dollar

The official forex rate against the euro for September 25 is set at UAH 26.64 per euro.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) set the official forex rate for the hryvnia against the U.S. dollar for Wednesday, September 25, at UAH 24.21 per U.S. dollar, updating the four-year historical maximum set on September 24, 2019, at UAH 24.33 per U.S. dollar.

The official forex rate against the euro for September 25 is set at UAH 26.64 per euro.

As UNIAN reported earlier, trade on Ukraine's interbank forex market on Thursday, September 24, closed at UAH 24.20/24.23 per U.S. dollar, which was nine kopiykas higher than the closing price from the previous day.

Hryvnia quotations to the euro were at UAH 26.62/26.65, which was also eight kopiykas higher than the closing rate on the previous day.

Hryvnia exchange rate updated the three-year historical maximum three times last week, as was the case in the previous week.
