Enterprises and organizations on the Russian-occupied Ukrainian territory of Crimea as of early April owed their employees RUB 156.9 million in salaries, local publication Novosti Kryma reported on Wednesday.
In particular, a total of 65 companies are in debt for that amount to a total of 7,400 employees.
Three Crimean plants have racked up RUB 3.3 million in debts due to the late receipt of money from budgets at all levels. The remaining RUB 153.6 million haven’t been paid by 62 organizations to employees due to their lacking their own funds.
The amount in wages owed per employee amounts to RUB 21,100.
