S&P forecasts weakening of Ukraine's hryvnia in next three years

S&P Global Ratings on September 27, 2019, raised its global scale long-term foreign and local currency sovereign ratings on Ukraine to 'B' from 'B-'.

S&P Global Ratings forecasts the weakening of the hryvnia, Ukraine's currency, in the next three years.

In particular, the dollar will be traded at UAH 27 in 2019, at UAH 27.50 in 2020, UAH 28.00 in 2021, and UAH 28.50 in 2022, the TV news service TSN said.

S&P Global Ratings on September 27, 2019, raised its global scale long-term foreign and local currency sovereign ratings on Ukraine to 'B' from 'B-' and its Ukraine national scale ratings to 'uaA' from 'uaBBB'. It affirmed the short-term ratings at 'B'. The outlook is stable.

Earlier, Ukraine's credit rating was = upgraded by Fitch.
