On Tuesday, October 8, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 24.73/24.77 to the dollar.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on Tuesday evening weakened the official hryvnia exchange rate by 16 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 24.70 to the dollar.

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for October 9:
US$100 costs UAH 2,470.7021 (UAH 2,486.7568 as of October 8);
EUR 100 costs UAH 2,714.3133 (UAH 2,733.6918 as of October 8);
