According to prime minister, the government is doing its utmost so that the tariff does not grow.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk says the Cabinet of Ministers does not plan to raise heating tariffs for households in the near future.

"The only thing I can say for sure is that no decisions to raise tariffs have been made today, and the government has no plans to do something to raise them in the near future," he told a briefing after a government meeting on October 9.
According to Honcharuk, the government is doing its utmost so that the tariff does not grow, but this depends not only on its will.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on January 1, 2019, heating tariffs for Ukrainian households' grew due to a 23.5% increase in the price of natural gas in Ukraine from November 1, 2018.
In particular, the average tariff for heat and hot water have been set at UAH 1,200 (US$48) per 1 per Gcal since the beginning of the year.
On June 26, 2019, the government decided to limit the heating tariff in Ukraine at UAH 1,400 (US$56) per Gcal for households living in houses and apartments with meters and UAH 35 (US$1.41) per square meter for those without meters.
