According to the prime minister, it is expected that the new three-year program will become the basis for continued cooperation with all international partners.

"This is not about money. It is primarily about trust in Ukraine and the Ukrainian authorities, about our ability as a country to fulfill our obligations before all international partners. This is the basis of a normal investment climate and macroeconomic stability," Honcharuk added.

UNIAN memo. The IMF's review mission worked in Kyiv on Sept 12-26. Following the visit, the IMF said that discussion of a new three-year extended fund facility for Ukraine will continue in the coming weeks.

The National Bank of Ukraine estimated the potential volume of the new program at $5-10 billion and predicted the receipt of the first two billion by the end of the year.
