The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) bought US$134.5 million on the interbank foreign exchange market on October 7-11, which was three times more than it bought on the previous week, from September 30 to October 4.

Last week, the regulator did not sell the currency, after it resumed sales of foreign currency a week earlier for the first time following an almost two-month break, the NBU said on its website on October 15.
