On Thursday, October 17, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 24.86/24.90 to the dollar.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on Thursday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate by 10 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 24.73 to the dollar.

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for October 18:
US$100 costs UAH 2,473.3852 (UAH 2,483.5244 as of October 17);
EUR 100 costs UAH 2,748.6730 (UAH 2,738.0857 as of October 17);
