A mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Ukraine's key lender, will return to Kyiv in the coming weeks to discuss a new three-year Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program for Ukraine.

Speaking at a briefing on Friday, IMF European Department chief Poul Thomsen said the IMF is discussing a three-year EFF program, but the amounts are not yet discussed.
He added the mission would arrive in a couple of weeks to continue the discussion.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainian Finance Minister Oksana Markarova said negotiations with the IMF regarding a new program with Ukraine were taking place more actively and more dynamically than in previous years.
