Ukraine may attract over EUR 3 billion in foreign funds in 2015, an advisor to the prime minister, Daniel Lubkivsky, has said on Ukrainian television news broadcaster Fifth Channel, Ukrainian online news site LB.ua has reported.
"With regard to the [international] conference [in support of Ukraine] ... there are very interesting results, interesting projections of possible investments. The prime minister says that the amount could total more than EUR 3 billion," Lubkivsky said.
According to Lubkivsky, the amount of investment could even reach $7 billion by the end of 2015.
As earlier reported, the European Commission, the European Investment Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development have accumulated EUR 6 billion of funds to be provided to Ukraine in the form of grants and loans. The whole current package of EU support for Ukraine is expected to reach EUR 11 billion.
