In September, consumer inflation in annual terms slowed to 7.5%.
The National Bank of Ukraine predicts a decline in inflation in October 2019 to a level below 7%, that's according to NBU Governor Yakiv Smolii.
"We do constant price analysis, and following twenty days of October we can predict that inflation will be below 7%," the head of the NBU told a Kyiv briefing Thursday.
As UNIAN reported earlier, from October 25, the National Bank has lowered the key rate to 15.5% per annum after it decreased in September to 16.5%.

In September, consumer inflation in annual terms slowed to 7.5% and was lower than the NBU forecast due to tight monetary policy.
According to an NBU outlook, inflation will continue to slow down to the target of 5%, including to 6.3% at the end of this year.
