The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has revised upwards its forecast for Ukraine's international reserves in 2019 from US$21.7 billion, to US$22.9 billion.

The forecast for 2020 was also improved from US$22.8 billion to US$23.9 billion, while that for 2021 remained at US$23 billion, according to the regulator's website.
The NBU also revised its balance of payments forecast, expecting a surplus at US$2.6 billion instead of US$0.6 billion in 2019, that at US$0.6 billion instead of US$0.2 billion in 2020, and a deficit at US$1 billion instead of US$0.4 billion in 2021.
