The draft law passed its second reading on October 2.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on October 28 enacted a law that has removed one of the obstacles to large-scale privatization in Ukraine.
"This list has been one of the barriers to large-scale privatization in Ukraine," Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Yuliya Kovaliv said at a briefing.

The law abolished a two-decade-old list of state enterprises whose privatization was not allowed. The list contained over 1,000 state-owned enterprises and other assets.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's parliament on October 2 passed bill No. 1054-1, which says that the law of Ukraine listing state-owned facilities that are not subject to privatization has lost validity.
