The Ukrainian president invited the EIB to join the implementation of infrastructure projects in Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says he hopes that Ukraine's economic growth in 2020 will exceed the planned level.
"We have very high expectations indeed. We want to grow more than planned. Our conservative forecast for the next year's economic growth is 3.7%. But we strive for a faster growth," Zelensky said at a meeting with Vice-President of the EIB Vazil Hudák, according to the presidential press service.

He said that the Ukrainian authorities have great expectations regarding the development of the country and make every effort to achieve such goals.
"Today, the main thing our team strives for is big changes," he said.
Zelensky thanked the EIB for supporting Ukraine.
According to him, one of the main priorities is investment in the development of transport infrastructure. Therefore, Ukraine is interested in joint projects with the EIB, aimed, in particular, at rebuilding infrastructure and road construction in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, developing the agricultural sector and supporting small- and medium-sized enterprises.
The EIB's portfolio of projects in Ukraine has reached EUR 5.9 billion, and there is potential for its increase, Zelensky said.
