The average wage in Kyiv this September amounted to UAH 15,626 ($621.88).
The average nominal wage of a full-time employee in Ukraine in September 2019 increased by 18.2% year-on-year, up to UAH 10,687 ($425.32), the State Statistics Service reports.
It is noted that the average nominal wage for the reporting period increased by 1.4% against August.
Real wages in September this year increased slightly, by 0.7%, against August and were up 9.8% on year.
The State Statistics Service has also reported that the average nominal wage of a full-time employee in Ukraine in September this year is 2.6 times higher than the minimum wage, which is UAH 4,173 ($166.08).

As UNIAN reported earlier, from January 1, 2019, the minimum wage in Ukraine increased to UAH 4,173 from UAH 3,723 ($148.17).
The National Bank expects a slowdown in wage growth, while suggesting an upcoming increase in nominal wages by 16% in 2019 and by 10% in 2020, respectively, or by 7% and 5% in real terms.
