Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has approved the draft of the 2020 national budget for review in the second reading in parliament.
"Given a decision by the National Security and Defense Council and the commission that manages funds for investment projects, the [draft] budget has been approved after finalization. We will complete and send the document to the Verkhovna Rada as soon as possible," the Cabinet's press service quotes Finance Minister Oksana Markarova as saying.

The Cabinet will start discussing the draft budget with lawmakers and the president on Monday, the press service said.
The document will be posted for public access after it is tabled in parliament.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the Verkhovna Rada on October 18 adopted the draft budget for 2020 in the first reading. Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk said the Cabinet would finalize the 2020 budget draft for the second reading based on 3.7% GDP growth.
