Transit shipments of natural gas via Ukraine in October alone grew by 5%.
Transit supplies of natural gas via Ukraine's gas transportation system in January-October 2019 grew by 1.7% year-over-year, to 73.289 billion cubic meters (bcm).
Transit shipments of natural gas from the Russian Federation through Ukraine in October 2019 alone totaled 6.97 bcm, which was 5.2% up on October last year, state-run Ukrtransgaz, the operator of the country's gas transportation system, has reported.

As UNIAN reported earlier, transit supplies of natural gas through the Ukrainian gas transportation system in 2018 decreased by 7.1% compared to 2017, to 86.774 bcm.
In 2017, Ukraine handled record transit volumes of natural gas (93 bcm) to the European Union.
