Ukraine produced 17.2 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas in January-October 2019, which was 0.4% down year-over-year.
In particular, gas production by the largest Ukrainian gas producer, Ukrgasvydobuvannya, for the 10 months of 2019 decreased by 2.3%, to 12.46 bcm, the Ukrainian gas transmission system operator Ukrtransgaz said.
The country's largest crude oil producer, Ukrnafta, produced 963.5 million cubic meters (mcm) of gas and other companies' output was 3.8 bcm in January-October 2019, it said.
As UNIAN reported, Ukrainian state-owned and private companies in 2018 boosted gas output by 0.4% from 2017, to 20.9 bcm. Ukrgasvydobuvannya alone increased gas production by 1.6%, to 15.5 bcm last year.
