Most of the funds came from the U.S. and Israel.
The volume of remittances to Ukraine via money transfer systems in January-September 2019 amounted to more than $1.7 billion (in dollar equivalent), the figure 4% lower year-on-year, according to the National Bank.
Most of the funds came from the United States (18%) and Israel (14%), the central bank reports.

It is noted that over the reporting period, remittances from Ukraine via money transfer systems amounted to $275 million (in dollar equivalent), with most of them addressed to Russia (31%) and Georgia (11%).
It is also reported that the volume of money transfers within Ukraine over the said period stood at $5.3 billion.
As UNIAN reported earlier, money transfers within Ukraine in 1H 2019 were up 33.5% y-o-y, to UAH 93.280 billion, or $3.465 billion.
