As UNIAN reported earlier, on November 2, Ukraine stopped injecting gas into the underground storage facilities and began pumping it out to ensure the smooth 2019-2020 heating season.

By the start of the 2019-2020 heating season, Ukraine had accumulated 21.76 bcm of gas in its underground storage facilities against 17.2 bcm reported before the start of the 2018-2019 heating season.

Earlier, Naftogas of Ukraine said the country needed to accumulate at least 20 bcm of gas in its USFs to pass the forthcoming heating season.
