Since year-start, 2.7 million tonnes of meat, 8.3 million tonnes of milk, and 14.3 billion eggs were produced.
The volume of meat output in Ukraine in January-October 2019 amounted to 2.7 million tonnes (in live weight), which is 6.3% more than in the same period last year, as reported by the State Statistics Service.
The agency says milk production in the country in January-October decreased by 3.6%, to 8.3 million tonnes. At the same time, egg production increased by 4%, up to 14.3 billion pieces.

The State Statistics Service noted that the data did not take into account information from the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, and the temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
As UNIAN reported earlier, in 2018, meat production in Ukraine increased by 1%, up to 3.3 million tonnes, milk output decreased by 2%, to 10 million tonnes, while egg production increased by 4%, up to 16.1 billion pieces.
