The Ukrainian government is currently in talks with an IMF mission.
Ukraine's Finance Minister Oksana Markarova says she sees phasing out cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Ukraine's key lender, in 2023 as her ambitious plan, and a cooperation program under negotiation should be the last one.

"My ambitious plan is to be able to phase it [a new cooperation program with the IMF] out so that in 2023 we don't have to be in the expectation of a new disbursement, but be able to support ourselves in future," she told the Ukrainian news outlet Hromadske on November 19.
The Ukrainian government is currently in talks with an IMF mission, which is in Kyiv now, on a new cooperation program.
"The program we are working on is good. It will let us handle a lot of reforms, a privatization campaign, concession, and other things. But it also should allow us to quit upon completion the same way as Poland once did," Markarova added.
UNIAN memo. The IMF's latest staff mission worked in Kyiv on September 12-26. Following its visit, the IMF said the discussion of a new three-year extended fund facility for Ukraine would continue in the coming weeks.
After talks with a Ukrainian delegation to the United States, Director of the European Department at the International Monetary Fund Poul M. Thomsen said the Fund's mission would visit Kyiv again in the following weeks to discuss the new program for Ukraine.
